Why renting white goods makes sense for expats
As an expat, you often do not know exactly what your new life in the Netherlands will look like yet. Do you really want to spend hundreds of euros on a washing machine, dryer and fridge right after you have arrived? With a white goods subscription, you do not have to. You rent your appliances instead of buying them. You pay a fixed amount each month and delivery, installation and service are always included. You can rent a dryer from €12.99 a month. Handy if you do not have a garden, balcony or separate drying space to dry your washing outside. Need a washing machine alongside your dryer but short on space at home? Go for a washer dryer combo instead. It is a single appliance that washes and dries, saving a fair bit of floor space in a smaller rental.
Renting a fridge
A fridge freezer is available from €13.99 a month. You get space to store fresh groceries as well as a freezer for bread, ice cream or leftovers from dinner. You choose the colour that suits your interior, white or silver.
